A Conversion Action something that a visitor does on your web site which is meaningful to you or your business. Some examples of Conversion Actions are:

  • Filling out a form
  • Signing up for a newsletter
  • Downloading a PDF
  • Buying something
  • Visiting a particular page

Most Conversion Actions in ConversionRuler are simple "did-it-or-not" actions, such as "visitor filled out the form", or "visitor visited this page."

However, purchasing something and recording order amounts and order numbers requires some customization of the ConversionRuler Tracking Snippet.

Conversion Actions are typically recorded on Thank You pages.

Conversion Actions can be recorded by placing the appropriate Tracking Snippet on the Conversion Action Page.
