Alternate Tracking Parameters

The following table shows the Query String parameters which are available to categorize your Landing URLs.

The terms are interchangable, and can be used in any combination, as long as you don't use two parameters from the same level. (When you do, the topmost one is used. So "cr0" wins over "crcat" if you use both.)

The following are valid landing URLs, which record the same, identical landing:

http://www.example.com/?cr0=ppc&cr1=Bing&cr2=big+terms&cr3=cat+food&cr4=ad+copy+3
http://www.example.com/?crcat=ppc&crsrc=Bing&crcpn=big+terms&crkw=cat+food&crsplit=ad+copy+3
http://www.example.com/?cr0=ppc&crsrc=Bing&crcpn=big+terms&crkeyword=cat+food&crsplit=ad+copy+3

Again, note that ordering of the parameters doesn't matter at all:

http://www.example.com/?cr4=ad+copy+3&cr3=cat+food&cr0=ppc&cr1=Bing&cr2=big+terms

The following parameters are available to accounts created prior to 2009, and their use is discouraged.
