A Landing URL is the link URL where you send visitors to from your advertising campaigns.

For ConversionRuler, A Landing URL is specially formatted URL that contains extra information to categorize an inbound link.

ConversionRuler has tools to do this for you automatically, or you can learn how to update your existing URLs yourself (it's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.)

We also support most popular search engine's methods of categorizing inbound links.

Some examples of landing URLs:

http://www.example.com/?_cr=ppc|Google|Food+Campaign|cat+food
http://www.example.com/product.asp?productId=51263423&_cr=ppc|Google|Food+Campaign|cat+food
http://www.example.com/product.asp?productId=51263423&crcat=ppc&crsource=Google&crcpn=Food+Campaign&crkw=cat+food

Your landing URLs should use Tagging to ensure that they are categorized correctly by ConversionRuler.
