ConversionRuler: Report: Summary (Legacy)

From Market Ruler Help
Jump to: navigation, search

The Summary report gives you the breakdown of your traffic based on Source in each row and a summary of actions is given in each column with either a numeric total (count) or the sum of the action values associate with that action (typically an order amount.)

This report is available to be displayed via the web interface at the top level or deeper outline levels which contribute to the top level:

  • Category
  • Source
  • Campaign
  • Segment (Keyword)

In addition, you can download a CSV version of the summary report using the drop down found on the right hand side of this report. This will download a CSV file with the following headers:
  • Category - The category of a landing which occurred, or had an action related to it during the time period reported
  • Source (only Source, Campaign, or Segment reports) - The source of a landing which occurred, or had an action related to it during the time period reported
  • Campaign (only Campaign or Segment reports) - The campaign of a landing which occurred, or had an action related to it during the time period reported
  • Segment (only Segment reports) - The segment/keyword of a landing which occurred, or had an action related to it during the time period reported
  • Landings - an integer representing the number of unique landings in this category for the time period reported

Additional columns are added based on the visibility of your actions and the related fields:

  • A column is added for each action in your site configuration as ordered as described in the Site Settings.
  • An additional column is added for each action field which has a non-blank Total Label when editing an action.

Each of these values when non-zero, will open a ConversionRuler Detail CSV Report which displays traffic for the given source and actions and shows all related information for this data point. You can also download a Details CSV report for the same traffic.

The summary report download file is named:

cr-Site Name -summary- report-level - date-start - date-end .csv

Where:

  • Site Name is the site name with characters replaced to make the file name compatible
  • report-level is category, source, campaign or segment
  • date-start - the start date of the report
  • date-end - the start date of the report
