HTML Source

HTML Source is the code and related files which produce a web page for a particular Web Browser.
To view the HTML Source on various platforms:

Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8 on Windows
- Right-click on a blank portion of the page
- Select View Source
- A window will appear in Notepad
Internet Explorer 6 on Windows
- Choose View Source from the View menu (left hand side at top of window)
Internet Explorer 7 or 8 on Windows
- Choose View Source from the Page menu (on the right hand side)
FireFox on Windows
- Using Right-Click
- Right-click on a blank portion of the page
- Select View Source
- A window will appear containing the HTML Source
- Using the keyboard
- Type Ctrl-U
FireFox on Mac OS X
- Using Right-Click
- Right-click on a blank portion of the page
- Select View Source
- A window will appear containing the HTML Source
- Using the menus
- Choose Page Source from the View menu
- Using the keyboard
- Type Command-U
Safari on Mac OS X
- Using Right-Click
