As of November 16, 2016, ConversionRuler tracking snippet will set two cookies on any domain the code is loaded on. Specifically, __cr_user and __cr_session are set to reflect the current user identity and the current session identity. These values are set if they do not exist and then are passed to ConversionRuler's tracking scripts.

The addition of these cookies should improve tracking for browsers which, by default, reject third-party cookies such as Apple's Safari browser and Firefox recent versions. The cookie values are generated by our server upon the first page load by a visitor.
