Bing is the Search Engine launched by Microsoft in June, 2009 which was a re-branding of MSN Search found on http://www.msn.com/ , also known as Live Search found on http://www.live.com/, or Windows Live Search. Bing search algorithm incorporated more modern technologies which made its search results (SERPs) match closer to Google's results.
On July 29, 2009, Microsoft and Yahoo! announced a deal in which Bing would power Yahoo! Search. (see Microsoft and Yahoo seal web deal.)
