Apache Web Server is a widely-used, open-source and free cross-platform web server software. It is powerful, flexible and highly configurable. It emerged from the Apache HTTP Server Project, a collaborative effort to create and maintain an open-source HTTP server. Colloquially known as "Apache," the software is developed and maintained by the Apache Software Foundation.
