A computer Protocol is an agreed upon method in which two computers can communicate with each other.
Internet Protocols are a set of standards by which computers can communicate together over the Internet. The development of standard Protocols has led to the massive growth of the internet since the mid-1990s.
The most common Internet Protocols are:
- Hypertext Transport Protocol
- Hypertext Transport Protocol Secure
- File Tranfer Protocol
- Simple Mail Transport Protocol
- Post Office Protocol
