An Administrative Interface is a web page or pages which allow a web user to modify or change aspects of a web site or web service.
Most Administrative Interfaces require Authentication of a visitor in order to prevent changes by unauthorized visitors.
The most basic form of Authentication is a user name (or email address) and a password.
