Apache Web Server is an open-source and free cross-platform web server software. It emerged from the Apache HTTP Server Project, which is a collaborative effort to create and maintain an open-source HTTP server. Colloquially known as "Apache," the software is developed and maintained by the Apache Software Foundation.
