A Tracking Snippet is HTML code which is pasted onto your web site and enables tracking of visitor activity. HTML is a text-based language to describe web pages.
Tracking snippets in ConversionRuler contain:
- Computer code written in JavaScript, a language understood by most Web Browsers
- An Image Bug which allows tracking in the few Web Browsers which do not support JavaScript
